By financing commercial and industrial businesses, residential real estate development and special projects which address the strategic needs of the city, the Fund acts as a catalyst for investment in Detroit. This is accomplished by providing low-cost, mezzanine financing which will leverage owner equity so that the contemplated transaction will merit traditional financing.
