International Specialty Tube (“IST”) is a Detroit-based company founded in 1989, which manufactures welded stainless steel tubing. The DIF loan was part of a total project financing for Viking Industries’ acquisition of IST. Viking Industries, LLC is a Tier One/Tier Two Minority Business Enterprise, which manufactures metal, plastic and rubber-based products. IST specializes in producing welded, 300 and 400 series stainless steel tubing used primarily for automotive exhaust system applications. This project financing was completed in partnership with Citizens Bank.
