The Research Lofts project
will convert a historic 44,000 square foot, two-story factory
building into 42 market-rate, for-sale condominium units.
Fifty-nine adjacent surface parking spaces will be provided
within secured, gated lots. The building is located at 5766
Trumbull between Wayne State University and the New Center
area and has Neighborhood Enterprise Zone (NEZ) designation,
which provides for substantially lower property tax liabilities.
The DIF’s financing was completed in partnership with
Standard Federal Bank.
